LEVELS OF PLAY:

Comprehensive/All Skills Camp: (Co-ed: Ages 8 – 18 years old)

Classes are programmed for three different proficiency levels: beginners, intermediates and advanced players — of all ages. Each student will be tested weekly and placed in a group of similar ability, and age. Beginners will be playing tennis in just a few days; intermediates will improve all aspects of their game; and advanced players will sharpen their game to a competitive edge.

Tournament Training and High School Sessions: In addition to the general camp sessions, this year we are offering tournament training and high school sessions during certain weeks of camp (listed on the application).  Make sure to note that you would like to participate in these programs on your application.

The tournament training program is geared towards tournament level and ranked players looking to improve their tournament results, learn winning strategies, and work on mental toughness.

The high school session is provided for players currently on their high school team and wanting to move up the ladder or those planning on making the high school team.

HEAD TENNIS PRO -  CHRIS OSBORNE

Chris Osborne has been the Head Tennis Pro at MB NIke Sports camps for the last four years.  Originally from London, Chris has great experience of running tennis programs across the world.  Many people have commented on our Head Pro’s enthuasm for the sport of tennis.  It is infectious to all those who work with him in delivering an individual and skilled development program of learning for all campers.

The program makes sure all tennis campers have a challenging and rewarding time at camp while learning and improving their core skills.  Having worked with players at elite standard and played a large role in developing National Champions, College scholarship players as well as beginners who are new to the game, our Head Pro understands all the demands on players regardless of their level or experience.

Having started playing tennis at 7, tennis has been a major influence on Chris’s life.

A talented junior in the UK, playing Nationally and Internationally.  This followed a spell at the Nick Bolletieri academy, eventually competing at College.  Playing College tennis then lead to a passion for coaching and passing on all the knowledge and experience acquired during his own development.

A keen sportsman you will always find Chris on the basketball court or tennis field looking for a game once the tennis training has finished.  Chris is always available during camp for players to ask questions about the program or their development
