CAMPER GROUPING
One of the most common questions we receive is: How do I know my child will be placed in the appropriate group?
As our camp is an Intensive Sports Training Program, we know that placing your children in the right group is extremely important. Our goal is to make sure that every camper feels challenged. When campers arrive on Sunday, our Head Pros use this day to evaluate the campers. Campers are evaluated differently depending on the sport. However the most important thing to remember is that the group your child is placed in may not their final group for the week. Head Pros and Coaches will reassess the level of the campers on a daily basis and will move them accordingly. Again, our goal is to ensure that all campers improve on their skills.
POSITION TRAINING
LAX, Soccer, Volleyball and Softball campers are also trained based on the position of play. As some drills are “position specific,” this helps the camper concentrate on the skills used for that specific position. For those campers who have not yet decided which position they prefer, Head Pros will discuss their options with them.
