Coach Olivares has been coaching with MBSC for the past six years, his second as Head Baseball Coach. Coach Olivares has been a coach and involved with camps since 2003. He has coached youth, high school and college camps all over the nation. Coach Olivares has coached and participated with organizations such as Tucson Youth Baseball Association, IR Dirtybirds Baseball LLC., Ironwood Ridge High School Baseball, Pima Community College Baseball, Metro State College Baseball and Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne University Baseball.
Coach Olivares is from Tucson, Arizona and attended Ironwood Ridge High School, where he was a two sport athlete and team co-captain for the football and baseball teams. In football, he was 2004 Pre-Season All-State Safety and received All-City honors in 2003 and 2004. In baseball, he was an All-City infielder in 2003 and 2004.Coach Olivares received a baseball scholarship to Pima Community College where he played for two years and then transferred to Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO where he studied Sports Industry Operations.
HEAD BASEBALL PRO - VICTOR OLIVARES
For the past four years Coach Olivares has coached at Ironwood Ridge High School, which is one of the top high school baseball programs in Tucson, Az. He works with all levels of athletes and also does Special Education Elementary at Rattle Snake Ridge.
LEVELS OF PLAY:
Classes are programmed for three different proficiency levels: beginners, intermediates and advanced players — of all ages. Each student will be tested evaluated and placed in a group of similar ability, and age. Beginners will be playing baseball in just a few days; intermediates will improve all aspects of their game; and advanced players will sharpen their game to a competitive edge.
